Super Falcons midfielder Toni Payne has completed a move to Inter Milan, signing a two-year contract with the Italian club after leaving Everton.The 30-year-old, born in 1995 to Nigerian parents in Alabama, began her football journey with her sisters before joining Ajax in 2017.She later moved to Sevilla, where she made 168 appearances and scored 30 goals before joining Everton.Inter Milan confirmed her arrival, noting her contract runs until June 30, 2028.

The club, which recently secured promotion to Serie A and qualified for the UEFA Women’s Champions League, will now have Payne as part of their rising squad.

Payne, who has previously played in the 2023 and 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, is included in Nigeria’s 25-player squad for the 2026 tournament in Morocco.Nigeria’s group includes Malawi, Egypt, and Zambia, with matches scheduled in Rabat from July 26 to August 16.Her transfer adds another chapter to her career, which has taken her from Ajax to Sevilla to England.
