The Ogun State Police Command has arrested 16 suspects across the state for various offences including illegal petroleum product dealings, vandalism of critical infrastructure, burglary, theft, and defilement.

The operation under Operation KOSAYE led to the recovery of two vehicles, a stolen motorcycle, four drums of suspected AGO, 13 jerry cans of diesel, a pumping machine, and a generator.The arrests followed credible intelligence on a diesel bunkering syndicate in Abule-Iroko, where a 51-year-old suspect was apprehended.Additional suspects were caught vandalizing a telecom mast cable in Ota.Other cases include the arrest of a man for defiling an 11-year-old girl and recovering a hijacked truck along the Benin/Ore Expressway.Police emphasized their commitment to protecting national assets and warned against vandalism, urging public cooperation in crime prevention.
