Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has assured members of the Edo State Welders Association of his government's commitment to creating a business-friendly environment, with priority on addressing erratic power supply.

During a visit to Government House, Okpebholo highlighted ongoing efforts to resolve power challenges affecting artisans and small businesses, mentioning a 100-megawatt power plant under construction that will be operational by November.

He also outlined plans for decentralized power projects in Edo North and Central, emphasizing infrastructure development as part of his mandate to leave Edo better than he found it.

Okpebholo praised President Tinubu's policies, including fuel subsidy removal and tax reforms aimed at low-income earners, while urging welders to support the government during elections.
