The office of the Idac oversight judge has confirmed receiving complaints against advocate Andrea Johnson, the head of the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (Idac).

This marks a departure from the office's usual practice of not commenting on complaints, citing 'exceptional public interest' due to media inquiries and the public nature of the complaints.

Spokesperson Tiyisela Mpuzana emphasized that the complaints are being handled through established processes, adhering to statutory mandates and legal frameworks.
