Kiambu County in Kenya hosts several Huduma Centres that serve as one-stop government service hubs aimed at improving access to public services.According to the report, the county currently has two operational centres: Thika Huduma Centre and Kamwangi Huduma Centre, while Githunguri Huduma Centre is still under construction and nearing completion.

These centres are strategically located to serve residents across different sub-counties, reducing the need to travel long distances to access government services. The Thika Huduma Centre is located opposite Thika Stadium within the Assistant County Commissioner’s office. It operates on extended hours from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays, making it more accessible to the public.

Kamwangi Huduma Centre, situated within the District Commissioner’s compound in Kamwangi Town, serves residents of Gatundu North and nearby areas and operates from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Both centres remain closed on weekends and public holidays.

The upcoming Githunguri Huduma Centre is funded through the National Government Constituencies Development Fund and is expected to further improve service delivery once completed.
