Nigerian security forces have successfully freed Oyo State pupils and teachers who were abducted by Ansaru terrorists in May 2026.The rescue operation, ordered directly by the president, involved a joint task force of military and security agencies including the Army, Navy, Airforce, NPF, DSS, NIA, DIA, and NSCDC.The operation concluded on 9 July 2026 after 56 days of captivity.
