Police officials confirmed that the seized cigarettes originated from international smuggling routes, with some shipments passing through neighboring countries before entering the Philippines.The operations involved close collaboration between regional police units and local executives who provided intelligence on smuggling patterns.PRO-12 director highlighted the importance of these seizures in disrupting organized crime groups that profit from illicit tobacco trade.
