Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi of Pakistan and his Bangladeshi counterpart Salahuddin Ahmed have agreed to extend bilateral cooperation in combating cybercrime and online fraud.

The ministers held a meeting in New York during the UN summit, where they discussed expanding collaboration in areas of mutual interest, including training and exchange programs for police officers.They also addressed the US-Iran conflict and the Middle East situation.Naqvi highlighted Pakistan's role in maintaining peace, crediting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir.The summit brought together global law enforcement officials to tackle transnational crime.

Naqvi met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who praised Pakistan's peace efforts, and engaged with counterparts from China, Russia, and Sri Lanka.The agreement underscores regional efforts to enhance cybersecurity and counter online fraud, reflecting shared priorities in global security.
