The Pakistan Navy (PN) and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) executed a swift rescue operation to save 20 crew members from a sinking cargo dhow located east of Ormara.

The vessel was experiencing severe flooding, prompting an emergency response that involved the PNS Hunain and aerial assets diverted from the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre.All 20 rescued individuals, who are Pakistanis, received necessary medical attention.This incident underscores the PN and PMSA's commitment to maritime safety and their readiness for emergencies.

The operation follows previous rescues, including aiding sailors stuck on an Indian vessel in the Arabian Sea and saving 18 crew members from a merchant ship.These efforts highlight Pakistan's dedication to international maritime cooperation and humanitarian aid.
