State media reported that 23 terrorists were killed in ongoing operations in Balochistan, raising the total casualty count since July 5 to 102.The operations, part of Operation Shaban, targeted groups like Fitna al Khawarij (linked to banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan) and Fitna al Hindustan (designated for Balochistan-based terrorist organizations).Security forces also killed two militants linked to Fitna al Hindustan near the N-25 crossing.The military recovered weapons, grenades, and other equipment from the militants.Operation Shaban, launched after multiple terrorist attacks in Balochistan, has resulted in 52 terrorists killed since its inception.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for their efforts, while Balochistan Chief Minister’s aide announced compensation for families of martyrs.Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized a unified civil-military decision to end terrorism.

The operations have led to casualties, including 27 police personnel killed in an attack on a Mangi dam pumping station, with bodies later found in Zarghoon Gar mountainous area.
