Former U.S.House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband, Paul Pelosi, faces potential criminal charges after allegedly causing a hit-and-run crash in Napa County.

According to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office, Pelosi, 86, crashed his brown convertible into an unoccupied parked vehicle on Yountville's Yount Street on Friday.Witnesses reported he briefly stopped before driving away, causing significant damage to both his car and the parked vehicle.Deputies discovered his vehicle after noticing a California Highway Patrol car parked behind it.While Pelosi admitted to hitting something, he claimed uncertainty about the impact and continued driving.Alcohol tests showed no impairment, and he was not taken into custody.His case will be reviewed by the district attorney's office.
