‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ Marks the Return of Star Wars to Cinemas with Box Office Expectations
Pedro Pascal, known for his role as the Mandalorian in the Disney+ series, made a surprise appearance at Disneyland on Saturday, delighting fans aboard the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run ride.
Dressed in full Mandalorian costume, Pascal revealed his identity to a small group of park visitors, joking about the reveal before taking photos with attendees.
He was later joined by co-star Sigourney Weaver, director Jon Favreau, and LucasFilm President Dave Filoni at Galaxy’s Edge, Disneyland's 14-acre Star Wars-themed area modeled after the planet Batuu.
The visit coincided with the press tour for the upcoming film 'The Mandalorian and Grogu,' a spinoff set to release on May 22, marking the first Star Wars theatrical release since 2019.
The event highlighted the studio’s effort to generate excitement around the film while offering fans a memorable experience with their favorite characters in a theme park setting.
