The Pentagon's public database, Defense Casualty Analysis System, was recently overhauled, increasing the reported wounded/killed count to 624 since February.Experts attribute the data adjustments to the War Powers Act, which requires congressional approval for military operations beyond 60 days.The Pentagon split the war into two separate lists to reset the 60-day clock, effectively extending the conflict without authorization.Critics argue this violates the law and endangering troops.
