Pitso Mosimane has emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Hugo Broos as Bafana Bafana's head coach, following a presentation to the South African Football Association (Safa) technical committee.

The Sunday Times reports that Mosimane outlined his vision for the national team, emphasizing the need for alignment across all levels of South African football and professional development.Other potential candidates include Benni McCarthy and Rulani Mokwena, while international names like Hervé Renard have also expressed interest.

Safa's technical committee chair, Jack Maluleka, confirmed discussions with Broos to ensure continuity, as South Africa prepare for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
