Martha Karua, leader of the People's Liberation Party (PLP), alleges she was attacked by a group of individuals while overseeing the implementation of a High Court order at Gatoto Primary School in Mukuru Kwa Reuben.The incident occurred after police failed to provide security as mandated by court directives related to the school's board of directors.

Karua and members of the board arrived at the school to witness the enforcement of a judgment that restored the institution's lawful board, but found the gates locked despite court orders.

Media presence allegedly escalated tensions, leading to violence where stones were thrown at their vehicle, and an assailant smashed Karua's windscreen.She condemned the attack as an assault on judicial authority and called for investigations into both the violence and police negligence.The National Police Service has not yet responded to the allegations, leaving concerns about accountability and governance in public affairs.
