Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan remains committed to regional peace efforts after a high-level telephone conversation involving United States President Donald Trump and leaders from several Muslim countries.

According to the PM, the call included representatives from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkiye, Egypt, the UAE, Jordan and Pakistan, where discussions focused on the current regional situation and ways to move forward with peace initiatives.

The premier congratulated President Trump for what he described as “extraordinary efforts to pursue peace” and termed the discussion productive and useful.
