Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Quetta for a day-long visit, during which he will chair a high-level meeting to address the law and order situation in Balochistan.The visit, accompanied by key ministers and officials, comes amid rising security concerns following recent terrorist attacks.

The military reported that 42 security personnel have been killed in attacks and operations since July 5, including an armed assault on Quetta's outskirts, a police post attack in Ziarat, and an ambush on an army convoy.ISPR Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry warned terrorists to expect no mercy, blaming India and Afghanistan for the attacks.
