President Bola Tinubu has expressed joy over the successful rescue of children and teachers from Orire community in Oyo State after a 56-day operation by security forces.

The President praised the military, DSS, and police for their efforts in securing the release of the abducted individuals without collateral damage, resulting in the arrest of eight abductors and neutralizing others.

Tinubu acknowledged the anguish experienced by families and the nation since the incident, commending the Oyo State government for its cooperation in the rescue mission.He emphasized the government's commitment to justice for the victims, including the family of Mr.Oyedokun, who lost his life during the abduction.

The President directed emergency agencies to provide medical and relief support to the rescued individuals, highlighting the importance of ensuring school safety across the state.The operation ended a 50-day siege, bringing relief to affected families and the nation.
