FIFA President Gianni Infantino expressed enthusiasm about Canada’s role as co-host and encouraged widespread national engagement during the tournament, suggesting Canadians display flags prominently as a show of support.The event also included group photographs with youth players from Ottawa-based soccer organisations.

Canada’s first match in the tournament is scheduled for June 12 in Toronto against Bosnia and Herzegovina, as anticipation builds for the global sporting event.
