The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has announced the search for its first chief executive officer (CEO) to professionalize the management of the Ram Mandir complex following allegations of embezzlement of donations.
The trust, which recently accepted the resignations of its general secretary and trustee amid the controversy, is seeking candidates aged 50-70 with a graduation degree and at least 20 years of managerial experience in large public organizations.Preference will be given to those with experience as temple chief administrative officers.
The CEO will be hired on a three-year contract and will oversee the temple's administration, devotee services, construction coordination, donation transparency, staff management, and public outreach.
A three-member committee, including a retired judge, army lieutenant general, and former NIT chairperson, will shortlist candidates from the applications received by July 18.While there is speculation about appointing a woman, no official confirmation has been made.
The new CEO will play a crucial role in ensuring the temple functions as a world-class pilgrimage site while upholding transparency and service standards.
