RCMP acknowledges investigation into CBSA officer's alleged ties to Dhanda drug network

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has confirmed awareness of an allegation that a Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) employee provided information to the Dhanda drug trafficking ring to facilitate smuggling operations. This follows U.S.officials releasing detailed indictments about the Indian-led drug distribution network operating from British Columbia.

The indictment, part of 'Operation Hard Ball' led by the FBI's Los Angeles office, targets 37 individuals linked to Indian organized crime groups, including the Dhanda ring and the Bishnoi network.
