A former Republican congressman, Adam Kinzinger, has criticized the Trump administration over its handling of a government-commissioned report examining allegations of voting machine fraud.
According to Kinzinger, the investigation was initiated following an executive order from President Donald Trump aimed at investigating claims of “stolen elections,” particularly focusing on whether voting machines could alter or flip votes. The effort was intended to substantiate long-standing allegations of widespread election fraud.
However, reporting attributed to Reuters indicates that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) produced findings showing no evidence that voting machines used or planned for use in upcoming midterm elections were capable of switching votes or otherwise manipulating election outcomes.Kinzinger stated that the report concluded “not a single vote was switched anywhere,” directly undermining claims of systemic machine-based fraud.Despite these findings, Kinzinger alleged that the report’s public release has been delayed.
He argued that officials are withholding the document because its conclusions contradict the narrative that motivated the investigation in the first place.
He further criticized the situation, suggesting that rather than acknowledging the results, those involved are postponing transparency and avoiding accountability.Kinzinger also claimed that officials would eventually misrepresent or deny the report’s findings once they become public.
The situation highlights ongoing political tensions surrounding election integrity debates in the United States, particularly as they relate to voting technology.
While the investigation reportedly failed to find supporting evidence for claims of machine-based vote manipulation, controversy persists over the timing and transparency of its release.

Another 'investigation' that finds nothing? They wasted taxpayer dollars chasing shadows. Kinzinger’s right; they’re dragging their feet on releasing this. Probably because it blows a hole in the whole 'stolen election' narrative. Typical Washington stonewalling, folks. Don't buy it!
