Rite Foods Limited has been commended by the federal government and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for awarding N35 million in scholarships to seven outstanding UTME candidates.
The initiative, part of Rite Foods' National Academic Excellence Awards, supports students from Nigeria's six geopolitical zones and the JAMB Equal Opportunity Group.
Federal Education Minister Tunji Alausa praised the company's commitment to education, highlighting its partnership with JAMB to nurture young talents.JAMB Registrar Ishaq Oloyede noted the private sector's role in complementing government efforts to reward academic excellence.Each beneficiary received N5 million, with recipients representing diverse fields like engineering and medicine.
The ceremony underscored Rite Foods' dedication to youth development and national progress through education, aligning with its sustainability agenda focused on Education, Youth Empowerment, Environmental Stewardship, and Community Development (EYCE).
