Federal prosecutors drop weapons charge in Nevada case tied to alleged illegal biolab materials
Jacob Engels, a 34-year-old associate of long-time Trump ally Roger Stone, was arrested in Wisconsin for felony methamphetamine possession.Engels is also linked to the far-right group Proud Boys.
According to court documents, in addition to the drug charge, he faces several misdemeanors, including resisting an officer, disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of illegally obtained prescriptions.
Engels has had previous legal troubles, including a 2023 contempt of court case in Florida, during which he evaded authorities and taunted the judge by calling the court a 'kangaroo court.
