UDA candidate Samuel Muchina has been tasked by President William Ruto to oversee major development projects in Ol Kalou Constituency, despite losing the parliamentary by-election to DCP's Sammy Kamau Ngotho.

The president assured Muchina that six key projects, including electrification, hospital completion, and water access initiatives, will continue regardless of the election outcome.Muchina accepted the responsibility, emphasizing that the projects are about the future of Ol Kalou residents.Ruto praised Muchina's issue-based campaign approach, highlighting his respectful political style.Muchina expressed gratitude for the recognition and reiterated his commitment to the constituency, framing his defeat as a temporary setback.The by-election saw a 57% turnout, with Kamau winning by a significant margin.

The projects include 36 electrification sites, housing for vulnerable families, boreholes, a university project, hospital upgrades, and infrastructure works.This development underscores ongoing efforts to improve Ol Kalou's infrastructure and services.
