Security forces in Balochistan's Mastung district have killed 13 terrorists during an ongoing intelligence-based operation (IBO) dubbed Operation Al-Azm.

The operation, launched after a bus attack in Karachi claimed three lives, has seen significant progress with the elimination of key terrorist hideouts and the recovery of weapons and materials.Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the security forces' efforts, emphasizing the need to eradicate terrorism from the region.

The government attributes the attacks to 'Fitna al-Hindustan,' a term used to highlight India's alleged role in supporting Balochistan-based militant groups.

The operation has also led to the arrest of female suicide bombers and other facilitators, while political leaders stress the importance of dialogue to resolve the crisis.Recent counterterrorism efforts, including Operation Shaban, have resulted in the elimination of over 129 terrorists in the province.The attacks have heightened security concerns, prompting continued military operations and calls for political solutions.
