Pakistan's security forces have killed 88 militants belonging to India's proxy group Fitna al-Khawarij during Operation Shaban in Balochistan since July 5, according to official sources.

The joint operation by the Army, Frontier Corps, and police has resulted in 52 confirmed kills, with additional casualties reported in recent attacks.The operation began after an attack on a Mangi Dam police station in Ziarat, where 15 militants were killed and nine security personnel martyred.Despite heavy losses inflicted on terrorists, 42 people including civilians have been killed in three attacks.Security sources emphasize the operation will continue until all militants are eliminated.The conflict highlights ongoing tensions with India-backed groups and ties to Afghan Taliban activities near the border.

Previous clashes in October 2025 saw over 200 militants killed, but diplomatic efforts between Pakistan and Afghanistan remain stalled due to mutual distrust.
