Hon.Isa Kalanjeni, Executive Chairman of Tangaza Local Government Area in Sokoto State, has resigned from his post and the All Progressives Congress (APC) due to administrative challenges and personal reasons.In a letter dated May 5, 2026, Kalanjeni announced his immediate resignation from the APC, citing personal reasons for leaving the party.

He also submitted a resignation letter to the Sokoto State Government, effective July 7, 2026, stating that administrative issues made it impossible to fulfill his duties.Kalanjeni attributed his decision to consultations with family, political allies, and community stakeholders.The ADC governorship candidate, Hon.
