Ragnarok Console Project, a New Story-Driven RPG, Set for Multi-Platform Release in 2027
Street Fighter 6 is preparing for its biggest content drop since launching in 2023 as Season 3 comes to a close.Capcom has announced server maintenance on May 27, 2026, starting at 7 p.m.PDT and expected to last approximately five hours until 12 a.m.PDT.During this period, all online features including matchmaking, Battle Hub, shop, and leaderboards will be unavailable.Players will be able to download the update shortly after maintenance begins. Those who own the Year 3 Character Pass can immediately try Ingrid in offline modes.Ingrid, a mysterious magical girl character previously seen in other Capcom titles, enters the mainline roster as a technical zoner. Her kit includes multiple projectile options, Sun Crests that stock up to power up attacks, and teleportation abilities. The update also introduces two brand new game modes: Avatar Arcade and Random Avatar Matches. These modes expand avatar customization options and provide fresh ways to play both against CPUs and other players online.
Avatar Arcade specifically offers an easier path to level up mastery with the core roster, helping players unlock Outfit 2 variations without extensive World Tour grinding.Additional content includes Outfit 3 DLC for Ingrid, Alex, Sagat, and C.Viper, plus free DriveTech Wear costumes available for all 30 characters in the game.
While the patch focuses heavily on new content, it remains unclear if balance adjustments will be included this time, as a recent balance update accompanied Alex's release in March. This substantial update package aims to deliver significant value to the community as Street Fighter 6 continues to evolve.
