The Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) recently concluded a significant business forum between Tanzania and Egypt, resulting in the signing of two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and the exchange of seven Expression of Interest (EOI) proposals.

The MoUs signed during the forum focus on enhancing bilateral trade by streamlining customs procedures and creating special economic zones for mutual investment.Additionally, the EOIs highlight potential partnerships in renewable energy, food processing, and transportation logistics.Tanzanian President John Magufuli and Egyptian officials attended the event, underscoring the strategic importance of the partnership.The forum also addressed challenges such as market access and regulatory harmonization to ensure long-term benefits for both countries.This collaboration is expected to create thousands of jobs and boost regional economic integration.
