AfDB projects moderate Tanzania growth of 5.4% in 2026 despite geopolitical risks
The Tanzania Impact Investment Forum (TIIF) 2026 is set for 1st–3rd June at Johari Rotana Hotel in Dar es Salaam, bringing together investors, high-impact SMEs, policymakers, and development partners to explore Tanzania's most promising impact investment opportunities.Organised by the Embassy of Switzerland in Tanzania, the invitation-only event spans two conference days plus a day of field visits.
Day one will focus on early-stage deals, featuring panels on East African capital deployment, pitch sessions for seed and pre-Series A startups across digital, climate, and inclusive business models, and workshops on building fundable data rooms.
Day two highlights growth-stage SMEs and larger-ticket deals, with sessions on blended finance, impact-linked finance, fund design, and sector roundtables covering agriculture, AI, fintech, and alternative investment instruments like carbon credits and green bonds.Additional growth-stage pitch sessions and a Vodacom Digital Accelerator Pitch Day are scheduled, with a cocktail reception closing the conference.
Day three includes field visits to startups and accelerator hubs, a wrap-up lunch with the Switzerland-Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, and a private networking event for the WWF Nectar Fund launch.Fifteen high-impact Tanzanian ventures will exhibit throughout the event.Strategic partners include Invest for Impact Tanzania (IIT), KPMG, Vodacom, and UNCDF.Interested investors and officials can request invitations via the TIIF website.
The forum reflects Tanzania’s commitment to developing a strong impact investment ecosystem and supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable growth in the country.
