The Tanzania Police Force has assured the public that comprehensive security measures have been implemented at the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF) and across the country to ensure the safety of exhibitors and visitors.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) David Misime emphasized collaboration with the Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) and other defense and security agencies to strengthen security at Sabasaba grounds and surrounding routes.He encouraged citizens to attend the exhibition, assuring them that security agencies are present to protect law-abiding individuals.

DCP Misime clarified that police operations target lawbreakers, not citizens, and highlighted that security measures extend to other regions to allow safe participation in public events.The assurances aim to alleviate public concerns and promote confidence in the safety of the event and daily activities.
