Minister Kitila Mkumbo highlighted progress in expanding clean water access, improving healthcare infrastructure, and increasing educational opportunities.The country has also accelerated digital transformation and invested in strategic infrastructure like roads and ports.

Despite challenges such as climate change, economic disruptions, and regional conflicts, Tanzania remains focused on modernizing agriculture, promoting industrialization, and developing its blue economy.

However, financing gaps remain a significant obstacle, prompting calls for international support to lower borrowing costs and expand development financing.

Tanzania plans to present its Third Voluntary National Review to assess SDG progress, emphasizing the need for global collaboration to achieve sustainable development.
