The Cure headlined the third day of Poland’s Open’er Festival 2026, delivering a career-spanning set that blended rarely-played deep cuts with iconic fan favorites.
The performance, spanning two and a half hours, featured tracks from across their discography, organized into thematic sections reflecting different eras of the band’s evolution.
Highlights included the seldom-performed 'Treasure' from 1996’s 'Wild Mood Swings' and fan favorites like 'Trust', 'Charlotte Sometimes', and 'Prayers For Rain'.
The setlist also incorporated lighter pop moments with songs like 'Just Like Heaven' and 'Friday I’m In Love', alongside darker, early proto-goth tracks such as 'Play For Today' and 'A Forest'.Robert Smith, the band’s singer, interacted with the audience, humorously acknowledging the rain during the final moments of the set.
