President Bola Tinubu has emerged as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the party’s presidential primary exercise ahead of the 2027 general elections.According to the report, President Tinubu is scheduled to formally receive his Certificate and Flag of Office as the party’s flagbearer on Sunday.

The presentation will take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja after the completion of nationwide collation of results from the primary election.

The development was confirmed by Bayo Onanuga, the Presidential Spokesman, who explained that the Presidential Primary Elections Committee will oversee the official presentation ceremony.

The event is expected to bring together key figures within the APC, including state governors, members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), the National Working Committee (NWC), as well as members of the National Assembly and other top party stakeholders.Their presence is seen as part of the formal endorsement process within the party structure.
