NYT analysis finds frequent praise and flattery in Trump cabinet meetings
A new art installation in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood highlights the connections between former President Donald Trump and the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. The gallery, named the 'Donald J.Trump & Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Reading Room,' features federal documents related to Epstein, who was convicted of sex crimes. The exhibit includes nearly 4,000 books containing testimony and evidence, covering 1,400 minutes of testimony from Epstein’s victims.Visitors encounter a large photograph of Trump with Epstein at the entrance, accompanied by a timeline of their relationship.
According to the organizers, Democratic commentator Eliza Orlins and nonprofit organizations, the display aims to educate the public about the scope of Epstein’s crimes and the people connected to him.Trump has publicly denied a close relationship with Epstein, claiming he removed him from his club when he discovered illegal activities. He also recently lost a lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal over reports about giving Epstein a lewd poem in a birthday book. The installation is free to the public and will close on May 20, 2026, offering a theatrical farewell to visitors.
