Two men have been arrested after police allege they snatched a set of keys from a Mitchell car dealership and drove off in a stolen Subaru Outback.The incident occurred on Friday, July 10, when the pair entered the used car yard around 2:30pm.

CCTV footage from the dealership played a key role in identifying a 32-year-old man from Lyons, who was later spotted at a Weston shopping centre on Monday.Police arrested him as he left the centre, finding the stolen Subaru nearby.

The man, currently on parole and bail for similar alleged offences, is scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with multiple counts including theft, unauthorized vehicle use, and breaching parole conditions.Authorities are still searching for his accomplice, urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers via reference number 8442144.
