Inspired by Pope Leo XIV’s encyclical Magnifica humanitas, the assembly brings together Nobel laureates, former heads of state, and AI leaders to address contemporary challenges.

The event culminates in the drafting and signing of the Rome Declaration for an Unarmed and Disarming Peace, aiming to promote peace in an era of AI, nuclear weapons, and digital development.

The declaration will be signed on July 16 during a public ceremony at the Capitoline Hill in Rome, emphasizing the Pope’s vision of a peaceful world free from armed conflict.This initiative reflects global efforts to balance technological advancement with ethical considerations and international security.
