Nigeria’s Francisca Ordega and Osinachi Ohale, who jointly hold the record for most WAFCON titles with five each, could extend their legacy if Nigeria wins again.The fastest goal in WAFCON history, held by Tunisia’s Mariem Houij since 2022, might also be surpassed.Additionally, the overall goalscoring record from the 2024 tournament (66 goals) could be broken with the new format.
