The Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose have ended their partnership with the Norfolk Admirals after three seasons, announcing a new one-year affiliation agreement with the Bloomington Bison of the ECHL.This marks the third season for the Bison franchise, which made its first playoff appearance in just its second year of operation.

Senior vice president Craig Heisinger emphasized the Jets' excitement about the partnership, noting the Bison's commitment to success on the ice.The Bison, previously affiliated with the New York Rangers, now align with the Jets organization, which will send prospects to Bloomington.Eight players who played for the Moose last season also had ECHL experience.

Bloomington president Andy Zilch highlighted the shared values between the teams and the opportunities this affiliation provides for player development.The Moose will open their season at home against the Chicago Wolves on October 3, with additional home opener games in Grand Rapids and Chicago.The AHL schedule details were set to be released soon.
