Three Die in Wisconsin Lake Boat Capsizing During Storm
A 30-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman in her 50s was found dead at a property in Ambrose Croft, Netherton.Merseyside Police were called to the address at around 10am on 5 July, where officers discovered the woman's body.
Detectives have described the death as unexplained while enquiries remain at an early stage to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.The arrested woman, who is from Netherton, remains in police custody as the investigation continues.A post-mortem examination has been arranged to determine the cause of death.
Images from the scene showed a police cordon in place, with emergency service vehicles parked along the road and forensic officers entering and leaving the property as evidence was gathered.
Detective Inspector Sara Lang expressed condolences to the deceased woman's family and urged the public not to speculate while officers carry out their enquiries.
Although an arrest has been made, investigators are continuing to gather evidence and are appealing for anyone with information that may assist the investigation to come forward.
