Two people have been charged in connection with the death of Shanice Brookes, a 30-year-old charity worker who was fatally injured outside a Sheffield bar.Police said she was an innocent bystander on a night out when she was shot outside One Four One on West Street just after 02:45 BST.Jemele Rhone, 30, has been charged with murder, while Deiryen Dyce, 32, faces charges of assisting an offender.

Rhone is also charged with possession of a firearm and possession of criminal property, and Dyce with possession of ammunition, drugs with intent to supply, and possession of criminal property.A 30-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released and is no longer considered a suspect.The suspects appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court and remanded in custody.Det Insp Andy Knowles described Shanice as an innocent bystander who should have felt safe enjoying a night out in the city.Her family, including her young son, are understandably grieving the loss of their daughter, friend and mother.The case continues as inquiries proceed.
