Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State expressed deep sorrow over the recent passing of several influential citizens, including the Emir of Ngazargamu, Dr.Bukar Aji; Alhaji Ligali Lawan Ma’aji; and Hajiya Fatima Umar Mairiga.

In a statement released by his press office, Buni highlighted their significant contributions to Yobe's development and described their deaths as a profound loss for the state and its people.He called on residents to offer prayers for the deceased, support their families, and remain steadfast in faith during this challenging time.

The governor emphasized that death is an inevitable part of life ordained by Allah (SWT) and urged forgiveness for the departed's shortcomings while praying for them to attain paradise.

His remarks underscored the importance of unity and resilience within the community as they mourn the loss of these key figures who shaped Yobe's progress.
