Ryan Yator, a student from Mormorio Village in Baringo North, has made history by securing a scholarship for postgraduate studies at Goldsmiths, University of London.He achieved a First Class Honours degree in Education after excelling in his KCPE and KCSE exams.

Ryan's journey began with a primary school score of 267 in 2015, which led him to Kapchepkor Secondary School where he became the top performer in his 2019 KCSE class.His academic excellence earned him direct university admission, and he later switched from Economics to Education, graduating with distinction.This success has opened doors for further studies in Physics at Goldsmiths, with lectures set to start in September 2026.Ryan's story highlights the power of perseverance, as he overcame challenges to achieve his goals, inspiring others in his rural community.
