Form Six graduates in Zanzibar are being encouraged to attend the ongoing Zanzibar Higher Education Week Exhibition to gain guidance on university admissions, scholarships, and student loans.

The event, held from July 14-19, 2026, brings together over 84 educational institutions from Tanzania and abroad to make higher education more accessible.

Urban West Regional Commissioner Mohamed Abdulla emphasized the importance of exploring academic opportunities, while Global Education Link's Zanzibar Branch Manager, Zulfiya Labhulal, highlighted the organization's support for students through direct admissions, counseling, and scholarship access.

Students are advised to bring their certificates for streamlined applications and to engage with foreign university representatives for course information.The Ministry of Education's Director, Asia Issa, urged participants to learn about admission processes and financial aid options.

The exhibition aims to bridge gaps in higher education access by connecting students with reputable institutions and providing resources for academic planning.
