Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has condemned the placement of weapons warehouses in a civilian area following a Russian strike that killed 10 people in Vyshneve, a town on the outskirts of Kyiv.The attack, which targeted an arms storage facility, triggered a series of secondary explosions that damaged hundreds of homes.

Zelensky stated that an investigation has identified officials within the state weapons producer Ukroboronprom who authorised the use of the warehouse, describing it as a direct violation of both law and military directives.He emphasized that those responsible will face accountability, highlighting systemic failures in weapon storage protocols.The incident has sparked public outrage, with residents accusing officials of negligence and lack of transparency.

Zelensky also called for accelerated weapon deliveries from allies, citing a critical shortage of air defence munitions that leaves Ukraine vulnerable to Russian attacks.

The president proposed reforms to Ukraine's diplomatic efforts to ensure faster implementation of arms supply agreements, including a recent deal with U.S.President Donald Trump to produce Patriot missiles.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces have continued attacks on Russian oil infrastructure, exacerbating fuel shortages in Russia while facing intensified bombardments from Moscow.The conflict remains deadlocked, with both sides escalating military actions and diplomatic pressures.
