Ram is launching a new range of high-performance street trucks called the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee, aiming to revive the concept of muscle trucks for everyday use.The lineup includes the entry-level Rumble Bee with a 5.7-liter V8 engine producing 395 horsepower, the Rumble Bee 392 with a 6.4-liter V8 producing 470 horsepower, and the top-tier Rumble Bee SRT featuring a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 delivering 777 horsepower.The SRT can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 170 mph, surpassing a 20-year-old record previously held by the Dodge Ram SRT-10.All models share a short Quad Cab and bed configuration that improves rigidity and stability, with wider tracks and optional air suspension.
Performance features include Borg-Warner 48-11 transfer cases, E-Spool rear locking for drag starts in the 392 Track Pack, and large Brembo brakes with 325mm tires.Despite their muscle-car capabilities, the trucks maintain utility with towing capacity up to 8,890 pounds and payloads up to 1,160 pounds.The interior features updated infotainment up to 14.5 inches, Rumble Bee branding, flat-bottom steering, paddle shifters, and a premium 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.Ram aims to make the standard and 392 models the core of sales while offering SRT as the halo performance model.Sales are expected to begin in late 2026 for the standard Rumble Bee, with the 392 and SRT following in early 2027.
