Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have rescued 48 women from alleged sexual exploitation and commercial production of obscene content in Kajiado County.

The operation involved two raids: one in Rimpa area of Ongata Rongai, where 30 women aged 19-27 were found, and another in Kiserian, where 18 more women were rescued after being lured with job promises.The DCI recovered laptops, cameras, and other equipment used for explicit content production.The prime suspect remains at large, but arrangements are being made for the women to receive safe shelter, medical care, and psychosocial support.

The incident highlights ongoing efforts to combat sexual exploitation and human trafficking in Kenya, with authorities emphasizing the need for comprehensive support to aid the victims' reintegration into society.
