National Liberal Party Leader Dr.Augustus Kyalo Muli emphasized the importance of cultural heritage in fostering African unity during the Sukuma 7.7 Cultural Festival in Tanzania.The event, organized by the Busiya Kingdom, brought together traditional leaders from Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, and the Zulu Kingdom.Muli urged leaders to prioritize cultural diplomacy, peace, and cross-border cooperation to strengthen regional ties.The Kenyan delegation received an invitation for Sukuma elders to visit Kenya in 2027 to deepen cultural exchanges.The festival, which celebrates the Sukuma people's traditions, includes dances, exhibitions, and prayers for prosperity.Muli also discussed collaboration opportunities with Tanzanian chiefs, focusing on education, tourism, and community development.The event highlights the role of traditional institutions in preserving African identity and promoting unity amid modern challenges.
