Emergency services rescue fans and police make arrests during Arsenal Premier League parade
Arsenal are preparing to reinforce several positions following their recent Champions League final loss, with manager Mikel Arteta urging the board to act ambitiously. The club is seeking upgrades on the left side of attack, striker positions, right-back, and additional midfield options.
While revenues are projected to reach around £770 million, with over £300 million from TV rights, Arteta recognises some players may need to be sold to balance the books.Potential departures include Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, Ben White, and Gabriel Jesus, with the latter available for bids over £18 million.
Arsenal are also monitoring emerging talents such as Real Madrid's Victor Valdepenas, Newcastle's Tino Livramento and Sandro Tonali, Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers, and Bournemouth's Eli Junior Kroupi.
Other targets include Julian Alvarez, PSG's Goncalo Ramos and Bradley Barcola, Brentford's Igor Thiago, West Ham's Mateus Fernandes, and Leicester's 16-year-old winger Jeremy Monga, the latter drawing interest from Manchester United.
Arteta emphasised the need to capitalise on recent successes to maintain momentum, urging swift and strategic decisions to elevate the squad to a higher competitive level in domestic and European competitions.
